Dr. Sujatha Bhaskar is an alumnus of Maharaja's College and University of Mysore, Mysuru. She did her Masters' Degree in Psychology with specialization in Clinical Psychology from the Department Studies in Psychology, Manasa Gangotri, Mysore. She did Ph. D in Psychology from the University of Mysore, Mysore under the guidance of Dr. S.K. Kiran Kumar. She also has to her credit Post-graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Care Management from Symbiosis, Pune.
Dr. Sujatha Bhaskar is a Consultant Psychologist and Administrator at Bhaskar Heart Centre and Multi-speciality Hospital. She has vast experience in teaching, research and also in administration. Dr. Sujatha Bhaskar has served as Head of the Department of Psychology from 1994 to 2010 at S.B. R. R. Mahajana First Grade College, Mysore. She has also served as Guest Faculty in the Post-graduate Department of Social Work at Pooja Bhagavath Post-graduate centre of Mahajana First Grade College, Mysore. She has served as Junior Project Fellow for two different projects at Regional College of Education, NCERT Mysore, in her initial days of career. She has also served as counsellor in various schools for the mentally challenged and has taught yoga to the mentally challenged children in Mysore. She has also written SIM for several theory and practical topics in Psychology, both UG and PG courses in KSOU. She is also a free-lance writer.
